We are a parish of the Archdiocese of Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

Our parish strives to be the living body of Christ in our community, in which all share in various and diverse ways the responsibility for the mission given to the Church by the Lord to:

Worship God in joyous celebration of the Mass and sacraments

Proclaim the Word of God to all people

Witness the love and redemptive healing of Christ

Serve those in need in both Church and society

We the people of Holy Cross Parish are a Eucharistic community of the faithful, a family of God, who strive to root our lives in the Gospel.

We respond to the invitation of God to gather as a community to worship in our Roman Catholic liturgical traditions.

We warmly embrace and welcome all people into our community and encourage active participation in the vibrant life of our parish.

We are led by our love of God in outreach to our neighbouring communities and in loving service to one another.

We invite all people to grow spiritually through active participation and engagement with our parish ministries and programs.

Blessed are you, Lord God,
ruler of all creation.

Blessed are you, Risen Jesus,
cornerstone of our faith, lover of us all.

Blessed are you, Spirit of wisdom,
builder of community, our inspiration and guide.

Bless us with generous hearts,
open minds and a willing spirit,
so that united we seek a renewed vision
for our Parish of Holy Cross.

Grant us the courage,
faith and conviction of our ancestors
to face all our challenges
as we continue to build your kingdom here on earth,
now and for all generations to come.

Help us to be a holy people,
where dwells the true and never-failing light,
Jesus Christ our Lord.
